Review of the Sony Dream Machine Clock Radio
I recently bought a new alarm clock radio, the Sony Dream Machine, to wake me in the morning for work. The old clock radio we had was thrown in disgust because it was so annoying, and the buttons defective beaten repeatedly frustrated when I try to set the time.
The Sony Dream Machine is pretty standard out, not so expensive, and has large green numbers that can be seen on OK in the day, and are not too bright in the night.
The best feature is a little switch that you can paddle up and down the alarm. So if you want to get up 15 minutes earlier one days, because the CEO is coming to your office visit, you can easily adjust and adapt to just 15 minutes, back to what it was the following evening. You do not for 24 hours, in minutes, all 1440 of them, like most other cheap Clock radios.
Setting the same time. You can set the hours and minutes forward and backward, and not just in one direction, which is wonderful!
You can be woken with a choice of one of the radio (FM and AM) or buzzer, and you can switch the alarm off.
Another nice feature is that you just press a button at the top of the radio to switch on the radio, and another button to switch to him. Not terribly slide switches. The same button is used to alarm when He woke you up. There is also another very large rectangular button to the alarm in snooze mode, allowing you 10 minutes more sleep time every time you push. If you push twice quickly The display will let you snooze for 20 minutes before you wake up. There is much sense in this radio!
The radio has a small lithium battery to preserve your settings during power failures. It should last about 5 years.
It is also a summertime button, which adds to one hours time, the radio into the summer mode.
I've bought quite a number of clock radios in the past, and this is the first I've really wanted. It is really a brilliant little machine, designed and who has obviously put a lot of thought's features.
I am very happy, and nobody is paying me to say this!
