McGuyver Like we always are looking to do interesting and what the children can describe as "fun" with other people - and frankly our own - discarded waste. While our management considers the entire day surfing Ebay as frivolous waste of company money and most recently, a rejection of offense. We consider it an essential core of our job, but that's just between us and an employment tribunal.
In a more recent trawl eBay we met the lucrative film SLR market. As the whole world has moved to digital is a huge glutt of old and cheap film SLR cameras to get. Even better is that many manual focus lenses - useless in this electronic day and age measurements - Still in top-notch working order and can be snapped to effectively peanuts.
Combine the lens with a webcam, and you have an instant digital telescope. The only problem is how to effectively mesh the lens and webcam? One solution would be to a suitable outlet using a 70mm mount. Yet it occurred to us that it would be easier to buy a mount converter and epoxy it to the pipe or better yet just buy a suitable film SLR.
We felt quite bad when we got the Slr Camera was in such good condition was obviously loved by its previous owner. So here is what we destroyed.
What you need

2. 200mm telephoto suitable SLR film back
3. If appropriate cables and adapters
Let's get going.
First opening of the webcam and internal PCB and remove the intact lens.
