Why does my video uploaded from my camera not play back correctly on my computer?

I have a Samsung camera with a the most common of memory cards. The video plays back fine on the camera itself, but it sort of skips a lot when played on my computer.

Your computer may not have the updated codecs to playback the files smoothly. Also, it may also help to shut-down other programs that may be running in the background.
